EFORT Congress Awards 2020
EFORT Free Paper Awards - Orthopaedics & Trauma
The best-rated free papers will have the option of competing for the "EFORT Free Paper Award". From the presentations given in both "orthopaedics" and "trauma", delegates attending the two "award" sessions during the congress will vote for the three best presentations in each category to receive the "EFORT Free Paper Award in orthopaedics and trauma respectively". The winners in each of the two categories will also receive a financial reward (gold: EUR 1.500; silver: EUR 1.000; bronze: EUR 500).
Jacques Duparc Awards
From the best-rated poster abstracts submitted for the Congress, the ten best will be honoured and will receive the “Jacques Duparc Award”. The winners will be awarded with a grant of EUR 500 each; they will be informed prior to the Congress and the certificates will be handed over during the Congress.
Competing authors will be informed accordingly by the EFORT Head Office.
Michael Freeman Award
With the Michael Freeman Award, EFORT recognizes an outstanding scientific contribution made to the EFORT Congress. It is currently supported by Medacta International SA and comes with a financial reward of EUR 3,000.
