EFORT CONGRESS VIENNA 2023 GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be electronically mailed to [email protected].

Refund of registration fees will be as follows:

• Cancellations received up to and including 01 March 2023: total minus 30% handling fee.
• Cancellations received up to and including 12 April 2023: total minus 50% handling fee.
• No refund on cancellations after 12 April 2023.
• For any name change, a fee of € 50 will be charged.

CANCELLATION POLICY IN CONNECTION WITH COVID-19

Participation and access to the Congresses: you might be asked to present a valid COVID certificate together with your identity card or passport, or any other document or confirmation required by law.

If the attendee cannot attend the conference due to COVID-19 reasons (positive test, travel restrictions, transportation cancellation, imposition of quarantine in country of origin) the registration fee will not be refunded.

In the event of cancellation of the Face-to-Face Congress as a result of or in connection with the COVID-19 crisis, EFORT will automatically register you for the Online Congress, if made available, and EFORT’s liability is limited to the refund of the difference in the registration fee, if any. In the event of cancellation of both the Face-to-Face Congress and/or of the Online Congress as a result of or in connection with the COVID-19 crisis, EFORT's liability is limited to the refund of the paid registration fee, less possible administrative and/or processing fees e.g. credit cards. In no event EFORT will be liable for any other damage or loss incurred by you as a consequence of such cancellations. 

In order to offer our participants the highest possible level of safety, a hygiene concept will be established based on the official regulations and recommendations of the host country. As those regulations are subject to constant changes, the detailed safety concept of the EFORT Congress 2023 will be available on our website shortly before the conference.

CONFIRMATION

Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, we will send out a confirmation of payment and registration.

GROUP REGISTRATION

In order to make a group registration please find the group registration policy here when the online registration will open. INVITATION LETTER

The organisers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration and payment have been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants obtaining a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. You may request such a letter during the online registration.

MANUAL REGISTRATION PROCESSING SURCHARGE

Registrations received by fax, mail or email are subject to an administration surcharge of € 19. Therefore, we encourage you to use the EFORT Congress official online registration system that is safe, quick and easy and also gives you an immediate confirmation along with the invoice / payment confirmation.

Please click here to start the registration process when the online registration will open. In order to register to the congress, please log in with your email address and your password. If you do not have a profile, you can create a new one. In case you cannot remember your password, please use the “forgot password” link in the upper right corner of the page. After a successful registration, an invoice or confirmation (depending on your payment) will be sent immediately to your email address.

NAME CHANGES

For any change of names, a fee of € 50 will be charged. Name changes on individual registrations will be possible until 22 May 2023.

PAYMENT METHODS

All fees for congress registration and additional courses should be paid in Euro (€) in advance to the Congress Secretariat of  EFORT 2023, clearly stating the participant’s name and address.
To benefit from the early registration fees, payment needs to be received by the early registration deadline on 15 March 2023.

Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

By credit card:

Visa, MasterCard or American Express are accepted during the online registration process that will open in beginning of 2023.

In case you finished your registration on invoice and decide to pay by credit card afterwards, please log in in your EFORT/m-anage account (when the online registration will open) and click on “bookings” and find a green pay-now-button for online payment by credit card there.

PRESS REGISTRATION

Accredited journalists are welcome to cover EFORT 2023. Please use the official online registration and upload your press identification.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

The registration fee for participants includes:

• Admission to all scientific sessions (except CRC).
• Admission to industrial exhibition.

ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Responsibility
The participant acknowledges that he / she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the congress be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economical events or generally by "force majeure", or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate programme changes. With his/her registration, the participant accepts this proviso.
